Cyclone Gabrielle wreaked havoc across northland in Feb 2023. Many coastal structures were completely destroyed with the powerful storm surge. BDX Civil were engaged to carry out insurance works along the Whangarei Harbour foreshore. This project involved demolishing an existing undermined seawall and recreating a strong buffer zone with a grouted riprap rock wall.
